Part-Time Farmers’ Market Attendant

The Merrimack County Conservation District is looking for a candidate who is passionate about local food systems and farmers’ markets. MCCD operates booths at farmers’ markets to implement different incentive programs, helping connect customers with local producers. Programs include the Granite State Market Match, which allows SNAP/EBT recipients to double their money at participating farmers’ markets, and the Veteran Market Dollar program, which provides veterans and active service members $20 once a month to purchase local goods. This position is looking for an individual who can operate a booth for 3-4 hours at a time, providing exceptional customer service to participants from a variety of backgrounds, both economic and cultural. Duties include:

· Setting up and taking down booths at farmers’ markets

· Operating a terminal to accept a variety of payments

· Implementing incentive programs

· Data tracking/management
