This year the District is offering a variety of bulbs including gladiolus, dahlias, lilies, and more, as well as locally grown potted plants. There are also rain barrels and solar composters available! 

Need something a bit bigger? We’ve got you covered! Check out our selection of berries, fruit trees, and native trees!

Want something different to make your yard stand out? Try our sycamore, canaan fir, or tamarack!  Numerous options to support pollinators.

2022 Backyard Trout Program

New Hampshire raised, disease-free rainbow and brook trout. By ordering this spring, your trout can adjust to your pond over the summer and grow to become a tasty feast for you and your family. Floating trout feed is also available.

Orders are due by May 11th. Fish 10″-12″ will be delivered to your pond on May 15th. Fish 6″-8″ must be picked up at 10 Ferry Street in Concord May 15th 1-1:30p.m.

Preorder Your Cover Crop Seed Mixes Today

The New Hampshire Conservation Districts in cooperation with the NH Soil Health Partnership are offering cover crop mixes specially designed to improve soil health on NH farms, at wholesale prices.

Early Season Mix
To be planted May 25 – June 30.
Good For: Grazing, fallow fields, pollinator and beneficial insect habitat.
Order Due Date: May 7, 2022.
Contains: Hybrid turnip, Japanese millet, sunflower, crimson clover, forage peas, and forage oats.
Application Rate: 50 lbs per acre. Sold in 50 lb bags, as well as 1 lb bags for smaller areas.
Mid-Season Mix
To be planted August 1 – September 1.
Good For: Following early vegetable and sweet corn crops.
Order Due Date: June 30, 2022.
Contains: Daikon radish, crimson clover, hairy vetch, forage oats, winter wheat, and phacelia.
Application Rate: 50 lbs per acre. Sold in 50 lb bags, as well as 1 lb bags for smaller areas.
Late Season Mix
To be planted September 15 – October 7.
Good For: Following silage corn and late vegetable crops.
Order Due Date: August 20, 2022.
Contains: Winter rye, forage oats, turnip.
Application Rate: 75 lbs per acre. Sold in 50 lb bags, as well as 1 lb bags for smaller areas.
